Overview

Opal AI is a platform for creating and managing AI work agents. Users may connect third-party services, such as Google, so their own agents can perform tasks they authorize.

Information we collect

  • Account information such as name, email address, and login provider.
  • Agent configuration such as agent name, role, permissions, triggers, and knowledge files uploaded by the user.
  • Chat and run history required to operate and debug agents.
  • OAuth tokens for connected services, only after the user explicitly authorizes the connection.

Google user data

When a user connects Google, Opal AI requests only the scopes selected for that agent. For Gmail sending, Opal AI uses Gmail access only to send emails requested or approved by the user. Google tokens are stored server-side and are not exposed in the user interface.

Opal AI does not sell Google user data, does not use it for advertising, and does not transfer it except as necessary to provide the user-requested agent functionality.

How we use information

  • To authenticate users.
  • To create and run user-owned AI agents.
  • To perform actions the user requests through connected tools.
  • To maintain logs, security, and troubleshooting.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers necessary to run the service, or by third-party APIs the user explicitly connects and authorizes.

Data retention and deletion

Users may disconnect integrations from agent settings. Users may request deletion of their account, agents, chat history, and connected integration data by contacting support.

Security

We apply access controls so each user can access only their own agents and integrations. Sensitive tokens are stored server-side and redacted from API responses.
